Red Ice has grown and grown in popularity since it’s introduction a few years ago and has become Ultima’s most popular all round saltwater product.
Red Ice has also proved highly popular when fishing from the shore on either shingle or rocky beaches, as it copes very well with rough ground due to the inherent high abrasion resistance of its main copolymer component. This, together with it’s exceptional knot strength have made Red Ice a firm favourite with all who have used it, including night anglers who find Red Ice the most easily visible in dark conditions.

Modern materials and technology have achieved very high knot strengths previously thought not possible. No special knots are needed with Power Plus; standard angling knots will deliver close to 100% knot strength.

High Abrasion Resistance
Recent Polymer developments have brought huge gains here. Power Plus is 6 times more abrasion resistant and tougher than traditional monos, so it can be used with confidence in any situation.

Power Plus is silky smooth. More technology enables a never before seen combination of softness with the line's great strength and toughness, that is longer lasting and very easy to use.

Low Visibility
Power Plus is produced in a special olive green colour to take on the colour from surrounding water conditions. Even in clear waters it is well camouflaged.

Balanced Stretch Factor
Designed to give positive contact but with a forgiving nature Power Plus has a medium to low stretch averaging 22%. This provides excellent direct contact with bait and fish, but still enough give to avoid snap offs.
