Attach a leader 1.5 metres long with a sinker one end and a large ring the other to your main line.
Cast into desired area.
Tighten the line.
Clip on your "slidebaiter" with livebait on a circle hook on a 350-450mm leader. Slide it into the water and the bait will swim out to the ring.
The shape of the slidebaiter stops the baitfish from swimming back.
